The Time is Now

So I’ve spent most of today trying to figure things out going forward. In addition to thinking over my plan (more of that in a moment) I took today as a bit of a dry run. So far I’ve done my 75 push ups,and still have left to do 25 more before bed. I didn’t add in the cardio or abs today, but I will starting tomorrow. My original plan was a bit ambitious and lacking especially in the area of diet. I usually starve myself pretty bad, but what I do eat is junk. For example, I might

have only 1 or 2 meals a day, but those meals will be McDonald’s or something similarly unhealthy. Simply switching out the bad food for the good food isn’t enough. Which such a low caloric intake, I’ll actually be hurting myself more than helping. I need to eat more, but keep it healthy, a difficult prospect for me to accomplish. That being said I think I’m going to make some modifications to

It’s time to stop procrastinating.

I’ve always been slim, but I’ve never been fit. It’s time to change that. Today is prep day. I’m going to hit the ground running on Tuesday.

Food: I’m going to eat protein in the morning. 2 eggs, just the whites, glass of orange juice, and a multivitamin. Each lunch break I get a healthy bar, like fiber1 or something like that. Under 100 calories. For lunch I make a protein shake. Drink lots of water otherwise. Dinner should be high in protein, low in fat.  I’m only drinking water and the shake from now on. Black tea at work is permitted for the caffeine but I have a feeling once I get this going I won’t need it. Absolutely no snacking or sweets. I’ll miss Reese’s cups. Read more…
