The Time is Now

So I’ve spent most of today trying to figure things out going forward. In addition to thinking over my plan (more of that in a moment) I took today as a bit of a dry run. So far I’ve done my 75 push ups,and still have left to do 25 more before bed. I didn’t add in the cardio or abs today, but I will starting tomorrow. My original plan was a bit ambitious and lacking especially in the area of diet. I usually starve myself pretty bad, but what I do eat is junk. For example, I might

have only 1 or 2 meals a day, but those meals will be McDonald’s or something similarly unhealthy. Simply switching out the bad food for the good food isn’t enough. Which such a low caloric intake, I’ll actually be hurting myself more than helping. I need to eat more, but keep it healthy, a difficult prospect for me to accomplish. That being said I think I’m going to make some modifications to

what I outlined yesterday.

While getting cardio in during lunch sounds like a great idea, it’s not really feasible in my present situation so I’m going to replace that with some time on my road bike + trainer and/or on an erg. As for food, I’m going to more gradually transition myself to a better diet starting with cutting out all fatty

foods and drinks as well as greatly increasing my protein intake. I’m going to closely monitor what I’m eating while I work out a sound diet plan. I may not have it all worked out, but that’s ok. As long as I’m committed to a vision, and always working towards it, I will succeed. If I let myself delay and plan, I will fall prey to the vicious cycle that has kept me from getting fit for years. I may not

actually be jacked by xmas, but I’ll be working on it.

Today marks Day 0. Tomorrow it begins. It will only get better from here.

So Brian, This picture was months ago. What is your status now? lets see the improvements. I know Dan and his eating habits have hindered you as well as your works schedule. I have to tell you, you seem very intelligent and well disciplined especically for someone of your age. It is very refreshing to read and watch ( yes I have seen your videos) a young man that has a grasp of himself and what he wants to say. Be it he may know what that is all the time, but you state that also. Thank you again for sharing yourself. Signed BIG FAN

    Train to run a marathon!

Actually, that would probably be counterproductive for you…
